Meet the Designer
Manju Vashishta
Manju is an independent consultant in Raleigh. She is a member of the local NKBA chapter and a Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer (CKBD). She has been in the Architecture, Interior Design and Construction industry since 1994.
In 1998 she completed her Diploma in Interior Design and CADD tech courses was hired by Roy J. Yoder Architects as a Cad Intern. Her projects consisted of Grocery Stores and Fast Food Restaurants such as Kroger, Bob Evans, Wendys and Chipotle. She prepared the prototypes for the first Panera Bread Restaurants that opened in US.
In 2003 she prepared detailed shop-drawings for the exterior metal cladding for the "Art Street Building" Campus for the Department of Architecture at University of Dayton, Ohio.
After relocating to Wake Forest, North Carolina in 2004, she worked at Currier Consultants & Design as a preliminary site designer and building designer for McDonald’s for the Eastern Region of US. McDonalds at 6700 Key Lane, Harrisburg, NC 28075 is just one of her designs.
In 2005, she was hired by ObrienAtkins Associates, PA to work on NC’s largest project, Raleigh Durham International Airport, Terminal 2. Other projects included designing The Executive Suites of Novo Nordisk Pharmaceutical Plant in Clayton, NC and The Youth Detention Centers for North Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention facilities.
Educated from Institute of Hotel Management, Catering and Nutrition at Pusa Institute in Delhi , India, Manju used her education throughout her career to design Grocery Stores and Fast Food Restaurants. She generated construction documents, preliminary site plans and renderings for Kroger, Bob Evans, Wendy’s, Chipotle and McDonalds. Today, she uses her design experience in remodeling Kitchens, Baths and offices and manages her remodels as a Project Manager.
As owner of MAV Design Concepts LLC, Manju offers a full, turn key Kitchen and Bath remodeling service. She partners with local licensed contractors, involved from conception to completion of her remodels.
CERTIFIED KITCHEN DESIGNER
In 2015 she switched her career to a Kitchen and Bath Designer, where at Home Depot she earned her certification from HD University. She has experience coordinating installations with numerous General Contractors throughout her employment at Home Depot and Lowe's Home Improvement Stores. She is skilled in preparing construction documents, as and when needed for a remodel or for a concept for a new build.

FABRICATOR OF CUSTOM WINDOW TREATMENTS
In 1994 she launched her first business ‘Indoor Concepts’ in Columbus, Ohio. Where she used her sewing skills in designing, fabricating and installing custom window treatments in residences. Even today she enjoys arts and crafts. View her albums on FACEBOOK -
GROCERY STORE DRAFTING AND DESIGN
In 1998 she completed her Diploma in Interior Design and CADD tech courses was hired by Roy J. Yoder Architects as a Cad Intern. Her projects consisted of CADD for Kroger Stores in Ohio. She drafted 40 construction documents from hard copy drawings. Further along she was part of the Kroger group of architects and generated 3D graphics of Grocery Stores and their site plans.
Residential Remodel
In 2003, this home remodel was partially completed. I am sharing the designs and renderings that were proposed for the Master Bathroom, Kitchen and Front Deck. Floor plan was on AutoCAD 2002, Renderings on Studio Viz 3D and AutoCAD 2002.
